While installations can often present different situations, we have a simple installation process to help you get your new fire pit operational in next to no time flat. We have simple downloadable pdf instructions for installing a fire pit or log set here. Simply click and download the installation pdf that you will need.
The only tools you will need are a pipe wrench, crescent wrench, pipe sealant and leak tester! It’s that simple. And if you are installing a log set to an existing fire pit, you will require no tools at all!
Our fire pit and steel log sets offer many benefits and one that stands out to our customers is that they require no maintenance at all! Once the fire pit is installed and operational you will not need to do anything to keep it functional for the lifetime of the fire pit! We do suggest that homeowners cover their fire pits when they won’t be in use for any extended amount of time (beyond 2 months or in the fall), or if there is a high chance for leaves and debris to fall into the fire pit but this is not required. A simple vinyl cover like what is used for patio furniture will work perfectly. We are able to offer a maintenance free product because we only use the highest quality stainless steel burner components and our steel logs and fire pits hand built out of extremely durable and long lasting heavy gauge steel. The steel logs themselves will patina a dark chestnut brown which actually makes them look more realistic as the patina and weathering process continues. This works really well for the overall look of the log set and fire pit. We do suggest that you remove any leaves, pine needles or other debris that may fall into the fire pit or on the log set prior to using it.
