Every gas fire pit we send out has the option to come to you fully assembled and ready to connect to the gas supply line to fire it up.
We provide a steel base support structure, which is the fire pit itself. This steel base can be freestanding or encased with a masonry stone surround. The steel base, which can be any shape or size, contains all the needed gas components to connect to the gas supply line which you will provide.
You can get all the burner components you will need from us and we can provide options around ignition source and BTU needs. Our standard gas fire pits come with a match lite burner system. This includes a 304 grade Stainless Steel Gas Burner, 2 Stainless Steel Gas Flex Lines, a Brass 1/4 turn key operated on/off valve and a hand fabricated key. This is everything you would need to connect the fire pit to the gas supply line and fire it up. We position the gas burner in the steel base at the perfect height to have the log set sit above it so you get the most authentic looking fire possible.
We prefer and strongly suggest going with a match lite ignition system as it is the simplest system, tried and true and has next to no ability to fail. This way your fire pit is ready for use whenever you are and will not require any maintenance. This match lite ignition system is our 100% recommended source of ignition. However, if you do decide you would like an Electronic Ignition or one that can be operated by a wall switch or bluetooth, we have you covered. We provide only the best electronic ignition systems that can be used for LP or Natural Gas in both 12v and 110v applications plus they come with a manufacturer's warranty. We only provide the best options when it comes to burner components for our Customers:
24” Fire Pits contain a 18” round 150K BTU Burner
30” Fire Pits contain a 24” round 350K BTU Burner
36” Fire Pits contain a 30” round 350K BTU burner
Our Fire Pits can be used with either Natural Gas or LP Gas and converting between the two is quite simple. However, any fire pit using LP gas has a ventilation requirement as described by the manufacturer of the burner. There must be a minimum of 18 square inches of ventilation on two opposing sides of the fire pit at the bottom grade. Please call for more information about the ventilation requirements.

We do not supply nor give advice on the correct gas supply line for you to use. Gas lines must be run by a licensed plumber to ensure you are getting the correct BTU requirements needed for your specific fire pit. Each gas supply line’s needs are different and that is why it is essential you have a licensed plumber ensure you are meeting the needs of the burner. This can greatly affect the functionality of your fire pit’s flame. When an order is placed, we are able to provide the BTU requirements for that specific fire feature as they change depending on size and other factors. That gas supply line should terminate 2”-3” above grade within 6” of dead center of the fire pit’s location. These are low pressure fire features which require between 7”-11” Water Column for Propane and between 3.5”-7” Water Column for Natural Gas.
It is essential that you hire a licensed gas plumber to ensure all your connections are tight, leak free and that you are providing the correct BTU’s to the gas burner. The only problem we hear from our customers is concerning the flame output or other problems concerning the gas line. We do not run gas lines and we are not able to help you determine the size or system. We specialize in creating beautiful steel log sets and figure its best to leave the gas lines to the professionals.
